Festividad: Virgen De Chapi

Traditional peregrination up to the Sanctuary of Chapi, about 76 km from Arequipa. Many devotee arrive walking. Is familiar that the devotee promise to arrive 3 years consecutive at the Sanctuary.

Description:
Religious celebration with liturgical acts and processions, where the dance of "chonguinada" with groups of travelling is danced. Typical dishes like pachamanca are consumed.
