Day 01: LIMA
Reception at Jorge Chávez Airport and transfer to selected hotel. Lodging.
Day 02: LIMA-City Tour
You will visit Lima City and its Colonial enchantments as the Main Square, The Cathedral, the Government Palace, the San Francisco Monastery, with its beautiful cloister and entrance, as well as the underground galleries or catacombs, traditional districts with their own enchanments like the Stone Bridge, We will appreciate then the Huaca Huallamarca from the Pre-Inca Period. Then you will travel back to the XXI century visiting modern districts with beautiful squares, small squares and avenues, as well as Miraflores with its beautiful beaches, intensive commercial trading and active night life. You will visit the Park of Love. It has a big sculpture representing a ¨Couple of Andean lovers¨. with a great view of the Pacific Ocean, End of our excursion.
Day 03: LIMA/AREQUIPA-City Tour, Santa Catalina Convent
Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Arequipa. At your arrival reception and transfer to selected hotel. Lodging. Free morning.
In the Afternoon, you will visit the second biggest city of Perú which conserves old the architectural treasures, and modern districts as the residential Selva Alegre area. You will also visit the Main square, the Cathedral, the polycrome Dome of “La Compañía de Jesús”, which has cloisters with ashlar (volcanic white stone or “sillar”) arcades; the Yanahuara square, the San Francisco church, the Chilina’s valley and the well known Santa Catalina Convent.
Day 04: AREQUIPA-Colca Canyon
Rising at dawn, you will start the journey towards the deepest canyon of the world. During this tour, you will appreciate the Yura town, the Chachani peak, the Misti volcano, Pampa Cañahuas, where the vicuñas (Peruvian camelid) are seen in its natural ambience, the Vischachani, La Pulpera, Callalli, Sibayo and Chivay towns, visiting the market and church.Includes Box lunch. Lodging.
Day 05: Colca Canyon-AREQUIPA
Tour to Yanque, Puente Cervantes, Achoma, Lari the towns and the Cruz del Cóndor (a natural observatory), perfect for watching the condors while they are majestically flying. In case you can not observe them, you will be transfered to the Tapay observatory. Return to Chivay, Patapampa, Yura and Arequipa. Return to Arequipa and transfer to the hotel.
Day 06: AREQUIPA/JULIACA/PUNO
At fixed time, transfer from your hotel to the airport for your departure to Juliaca city; at your arrival, transfer to selected hotel in Puno city. Lodging.
Free afternoon. At night, we suggest you to enjoy an Andean dinner with show.
Day 07: PUNO-Uros and Taquile Islands
Breakfast. In the morning visit on boat to the Uros Island, where the Lake Settlers are still living like their ancestors, keeping the costumes, culture and its community life. The islands are located in the Titicaca National Reserve. The Uros are descendants of one of the oldest towns of America. Their main activity is fishing and hunting. In the afternoon, a visit to the archeological Sillustani area located 34 kms from Puno City at 4,000 m.a.s.l. The Chullpas are big funerary monuments (necropolis) over an esplanade in a peninsula shape. The Collas built it beside the beautiful Umayo Lagoon. This square and round edifications are 12 meters high and this was created as a challenge for the law of balance, because they are smaller at the bottom than at the top.
Day 08: PUNO/CUSCO
At fixed time transfer from hotel to the bus station to start your trip to the Inca’s Imperial City of Cusco. At your arrival, reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Lodging.
Day 09: CUSCO-City Tour + 4 Ruins
In the afternoon, city tour to Cusco, visiting the Cathedral, Koricancha or Sun’s Temple, typical streets, beautiful squares, followed by a visit to the 4 surrounding ruins: Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q’enqo, Puca-pucara and Tambomachay.
Day 10: CUSCO-Sacred Valley of Incas
Breakfast. Full day excursion to the Inca’s Sacred Valley. You will visit the typical craft Market of Pisac Town (opened only Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) where you can buy peruvian handicraft at the best prices. On Sundays a Quechua Mass is attended by the Varayoc or Indian Leaders. Includes lunch. You will also visit the Ollantaytambo Archeological Park where you will admire its Main Temple. Located 97 kms from Cusco. Return to Cusco. Lodging.
Day 11: CUSCO-Machu Picchu
Full day excursion to Machu Picchu archeological complex, located in a subtropical Cusco area at 2350 m.a.s.l. Transfer from your hotel to the train station to start your guided visit. You will visit the marvelous Machu Picchu Citadel where you will walk trough squares, temples, terraces, worship centers and its Royal Palace. You will also visit the “Intiwatana” or Solar Clock and several beautiful natural water fountains carved on rock. Includes lunch. Lodging at the selected Hotel.
Day 12: Machu Picchu-CUSCO
Free day. We suggest you to visit the Macchu Picchu Citadel once again. In the afternoon, return to the Cusco city and transfer to your hotel.
Day 13: CUSCO/LIMA
At fixe time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your international or domestic flight.
Transfers of entrance and exit in each city, 03 nights of lodging in Lima and 02 nights in Arequipa, 01 in Colca, 02 nigths in Puno, 04 nights in Cusco and 01 night in Machu Picchu, with breakfasts excursions mentioned in the program with entrances, guides and transfers, permanent attendance of our personnel in each city.
