Day 01: LIMA
Reception at Jorge Chavez airport, then you will be driven to your hotel.Lodging. Free day for personal activities
Day 02: LIMA-City Tour
In the afternoon, you will visit Lima City and its Colonial enchantments as the Main Square, The Cathedral, the Government Palace, the San Francisco Monastery, with its beautiful cloister and entrance, as well as the underground galleries or catacombs, traditional districts with their own enchanments like the Stone Bridge, We will appreciate then the Huaca Huallamarca from the Pre-Inca Period. Then you will travel back to the XXI century visiting modern districts with beautiful squares, small squares and avenues, as well as Miraflores with its beautiful beaches, intensive commercial trading and active night life. You will visit the Park of Love. It has a big sculpture representing a ¨Couple of Andean lovers¨. with a great view of the Pacific Ocean, End of our excursion.
Day 03: LIMA/CUSCO-City Tour+4 ruins
Breakfast
Transfer to the Lima airport to board your flight to Cusco. transfer of entrance in mobility. Lodging. Free morning to get acclimatized to the 3 360 m.a.s.l.
In the afternoon, City Tour in Cusco walking through the Cathedral which its exterior and interior frontage were made in renacentist style. Inside, you will find beautiful cedar wood statues, like the chorus and the Pulpit, as well as the paintings of the Cusco Art School, and some objects made on silver. You will also visit the Qorikancha or Sun Temple; which nowadays is the Santo Domingo Church. Then you will go to the four surrounding ruins: The Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Qenqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.
Day 04: CUSCO-Sacred Valley of the Incas
Breakfast.
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will know the typical handicraft Market of Pisac Town (opened only Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) where you can buy Peruvian handicraft at the best prices. On Sundays a Quechua Mass is attended by the Varayoc or indian leader. Includes lunch. You will also visit the Ollantaytambo Archeological Park where you will admire its Main Temple. Located 97 kms from Cusco.
Day 05: CUSCO-Machu Picchu
Breakfast.
Full day excursion to Machupicchu archeological complex, located in a subtropical Cusco area at 2 350 m.a.s.l. Transfer from your hotel to the train station to start your guided visit. You will visit the marvelous Machupicchu Citadel and you will walk through its squares, temples, terraces, worship centers and its Royal Palace. You will also visit the “Intiwatana” or Solar Clock and several beautiful natural water fountains carved on rock. In the afternoon, return to Cusco followed by a reception and transfer to your hotel.
Day 06: CUSCO/PUERTO MALDONADO
Breakfast.
At the fixed time transfer to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Arrive at the ecological city of Puerto Maldonado, reception and transfer. We begin our journey with a short tour of the city. Transfer to the harbour to take our dugout canoe for the trip up to the Madre de Dios River. Arrive at the selected Lodge. We lodge in our comfortable Bungalows followed by Lunch. At fixed time, we set off to begin our excursion through the Amazon, where we will be able to experience the richest peruvian flora and fauna accompanied by our skilled guides. Return to the Lodge for dinner.
Day 07: PUERTO MALDONADO
After a dawn breakfast, we start another adventure through the virgin forest, we will follow the specially conditioned forest trails to appreciate all the giant trees, medicinal plants, variety of insects and local wildlife. We will also sail the Qocha (Lagoon) in canoe and then we will return to the lodge followed by a typical Lunch. Free afternoon followed by dinner. In the Summer Season we offer night walks along the river, so we may have the chance to wath some alligators that live in the area.
Day 08: PUERTO MALDONADO/LIMA
Breakfast.
Transfer from your hotel to the airport to board your flight to Lima. To its arrival reception and transfer for its following flight |
