Day 01: LIMA
Reception at Jorge Chavez airport, then you will be driven to your hotel.Lodging. Free day for personal activities
Day 02: LIMA-City Tour
visit Lima City and its Colonial enchantments as the Main Square, The Cathedral, the Government Palace, the San Francisco Monastery, with its beautiful cloister and entrance, as well as the underground galleries or catacombs, traditional districts with their own enchanments like the Stone Bridge, We will appreciate then the Huaca Huallamarca from the Pre-Inca Period. Then you will travel back to the XXI century visiting modern districts with beautiful squares, small squares and avenues, as well as Miraflores with its beautiful beaches, intensive commercial trading and active night life. You will visit the Park of Love. It has a big sculpture representing a ¨Couple of Andean lovers¨. with a great view of the Pacific Ocean, End of our excursion.
Day 03: LIMA/AREQUIPA-City Tour
Breakfast
Transfer to the Lima airport to board your flight to Arequipa. transfer of entrance in mobility. Lodging. Free morning to get acclimatized. In the afternoon, you will visit the second biggest city of Peru which conserves ancient architectonic treasures, and modern districts like the Residential Selva Alegre area. You will also know the Main square, the Cathedral, the polychrome Dome of “La compañía de Jesús”, which has cloisters with ashlar (volcanic white stone or “sillar”) arcades; Yanahuara square, San Francisco church, the Chilina’s valley and the well known Santa Catalina convent. Return and spends the night in the hotel
Day 04: AREQUIPA-Colca Canyon
Breakfast.
During this excursion you will appreciate the deepest canyon of the world, showing us a great beauty and cultural attractiveness. During this tour, you will appreciate the Yura town, the Chachani peak, the Misti volcano, Pampa Cañahuas, where the vicuñas (Peruvian camelid), can be seen running completely free, the Vischachani, La Pulpera, Callalli, Sibayo and Chivay towns, visiting the market and church. Box lunch included. Lodging at Chivay´s town, (in Kolpín lodge or Posada de Chivay Hostels). Return and spends the night in the hotel
Day 05: Colca Canyon-AREQUIPA
Breakfast.
Tour to Yanque, Puente Cervantes, Achoma, Lari the towns and la Cruz del Condor (a natural observatory, perfect for watching condors while they are majestically flying, in case you can not observe them, you will be transfered to the Tapay observatory. Return to Chivay, Patapampa, Yura and Arequipa. Transfer to Arequipa and hotel. Return and spends the night in the hotel.
Day 06: AREQUIPA/CUSCO-City Tour+4 ruins
Breakfast.
Transfer from your hotel in Arequipa to board your flight to Cusco. Reception at the Velasco Astete Airport and transfer to the hotel. Lodging. Rest of the morning free to get acclimatized at 3 360 m.a.t.l altitude.
In the afternoon, City Tour in Cusco walking through the Cathedral which its exterior and interior frontage were made in renacentist style. Inside, you will find beautiful cedar wood statues, like the chorus and the Pulpit, as well as the paintings of the Cusco Art School, and some objects made on silver. You will also visit the Qorikancha or Sun Temple; which nowadays is the Santo Domingo Church. Then you will go to the four surrounding ruins: The Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q´enqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.
Day 07: CUSCO-Machu Picchu
Breakfast.
Full day excursion to Machupicchu archeological complex, located in a subtropical Cusco area at 2350 m.a.s.l. Transfer from your hotel to the train station to start your guided tour. You will visit the marvelous Machupicchu Citadel where you will walk trough its squares, temples, terraces, worship centers and its Royal Palace. You will also visit the “Intiwatana” or Solar Clock and several beautiful natural water fountains on rock carved. Includes lunch. In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train followed by a reception and transfer to your hotel.
Day 08: CUSCO-Sacred Valley of the Incas
Breakfast.
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will know the typical handicraft Market of Pisac Town (opened only Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) where you can buy Peruvian handicraft at the best prices. On Sundays a Quechua Mass is attended by the Varayoc or indian leader. Includes lunch. You will also visit the Ollantaytambo Archeological Park where you will admire its Main Temple. Located 97 kms from Cusco.
Day 09: CUSCO/LIMA-Out
Breakfast.
Breakfast. Transfer from your hotel to the airport to board your flight to Lima. To its arrival reception and transfer for its following flight
