Day 02: TRUJILLO - City tour

City Tour en Trujillo, in the northern coast of Peru, was founded in 1534 by Don Diego de Almagro, who, on stopping in the valley of the Moche river on his advance toward Pachacamac (Lima), "found the place promising and suitable for founding a city", and named it after the Spanish city where conquistador Francisco Pizarro was born. From the day of its foundation, the city progressed rapidly owing to the productivity of the valley and the tenacity of its people; builders of stately mansions with outstanding artistic window railings in wrought iron, adding a touch of distinction and elegance to Trujillo's architecture. Day 03: TRUJILLO - Brujo complex
Breakfast.
This complex in on the right margin of the Chicama valley, province of Ascope, and only 60 minutes from Trujillo. It is the most important complex currently under full research. A huge pyramid; 30 meters high and over 15 centuries old is the complex's most notable feature. Reliefs portraying the life of Mochica rulers have been discovered on its walls. Return and spends the night in the hotel
Day 04: TRUJILLO - Chan Chan - Huanchaco - Salida

Chan Chan, located a mere 2 - miles from the town of Trujillo, capital of the Department of La Libertad, is a majestic citadel of mud brick built hundreds of years ago by the skilled, deft hands of hundreds of men. The ancient capital of the kingdom of Chimu, an important pre-Inca culture established in the Moche valley between the 12th and 15th centuries, sheitered up to 60 thousand inhabitants and stretched over an area of 12 square miles, from the environs of the port of Huanchaco to Cerro Campana.
