Day 01: TARAPOTO
Reception at the Tarapoto airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Lodging. Free day.

Day 02: TARAPOTO - Cataract Ahuashiyacu - Nueva Venecia Lagoon - Lamas town
Breakfast.
Exit in deprived mobility to visit the Cataracts of Ahuashiyacu This is a fascinating waterfall plunging 35 meters down. This cataract, the more famous and accessible in the region, is 14 kms. from Tarapoto. There is a pathway with carved stone steps and log bridges that allows access to the bottom of the falls for bathing in the small lake. Of return we will visit the Lagoon New Vence This is a small lagoon surrounded by "aguajales", a plant native to the jungle, allowing the fishing and to give a stroll in boat, we will follow the city of You lick folkloric capital of San Martín 25 kilometers from Tarapoto; this ancient town is famous for its people who still maintain their ancestral traditions and customs. The people of Lamas ("Lamistas") are descendants of the Chancas who, defeated by the Incas when trying to invade Cusco, fled to the jungle for shelter. Return to its lodging
