Day 01: AREQUIPA - City Tour
Reception at the airport of Arequipa and transfer to the selected hotel. Lodging . Free morning. In the afternoon, you will visit the second biggest city of Peru which conserves ancient architectonic treasures, and modern districts like the Residential Selva Alegre area. You will also know the Main square, the Cathedral, the polychrome Dome of “La compaņia de Jesus”, which has cloisters with ashlar (volcanic white stone or “sillar”) arcades; Yanahuara square, San Francisco church, the Chilina’s valley and the well known Santa Catalina convent. Return and spends the night in the hotel.
Day 02: AREQUIPA - The Colca Canyon
Breakfast.
During this excursion you will appreciate the deepest canyon of the world, showing us a great beauty and cultural attractiveness. During this tour, you will appreciate the Yura town, the Chachani peak, the Misti volcano, Pampa Caņahuas, where the vicuņas (Peruvian camelid), can be seen running completely free, the Vischachani, La Pulpera, Callalli, Sibayo and Chivay towns, visiting the market and church. Box lunch included. Lodging at Chivay´s town, (in Kolpin lodge or Posada de Chivay Hostels). Return and spends the night in the hotel.
Day 03: The Colca Canyon - AREQUIPA
Breakfast.
Tour to Yanque, Puente Cervantes, Achoma, Lari the towns and la Cruz del Condor (a natural observatory, perfect for watching condors while they are majestically flying, in case you can not observe them, you will be transfered to the Tapay observatory. Return to Chivay, Patapampa, Yura and Arequipa. Transfer to Arequipa and hotel. Return and spends the night in the hotel.
Day 04: AREQUIPA - Out
Breakfast. At fixed time, transfer from your hotel to the airport to board your international or domestic flight.
