Rustic shared cabins with exterior bathrooms, sleeping at the lodge or in the river communities and/or in tents. Light, moderate and though ecotourism, excursions of up to 8 hours or days along rough trails and/or river, flexibility in the excursions, abundant flora and fauna in primary jungle.
We Offer:
Tambo Amazonico is built according to local native design on platforms high above the ground, and has two large dormitories sleeping up to a maximum of 20 people. Each bed is covered in white mosquito netting providing privacy and protection, keeping the night critters outside, while letting the cool night breezes in!
Services
The circular screened-in meeting/dining room is spacious, and provides excellent views of the river and surrounding jungle that towers over the lodge. You will also find hammocks and comfortable wooden lounge chairs here. There are 3 communal bathrooms and showers. Kerosene lanterns illuminate the night.
