The "Posada del Marqués" ("Marquis Lodge") was opened to travelers in 1994. My father and my brother, Germán, took care of it before I took charge. My father manages now the hotel "Quinta Duro", in Gijón (Asturias). The Posada del Marqués was our home before, and therefore handled with love and care. We are proud of offering it to you now, being sure that it will contribute to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. We offer :
• 11 rooms finely decorated to the best colonial style
• The bathroom is furnished with a toilet, bidet, washstand, bathtub, hairdryer and a stool.
• It is furnished with the beds,
•a side-table, a lamp, a table, an armchair, two easy chairs, a closet,
• Painting, carpets, mirrors a ceiling lamp.
• It has wooden window-shutters and curtains,
• which allow total darkness.
• The floor keeps its original tiles.
Services:
Our lodge has a small library and many table games: chess, checkers, domino and cards. You can also play local bowling, croquet, and other games in our property. There are bicycles available for your use, and darts, Ping-Pong, pool, globe trips... There is a golf club twelve kilometers from the lodge, and close public swimming pools. It is also possible to practice horse ridding, tennis and canoeing.
